The Hair Information Technology Assistance, Guidance,
•To honor our ancestral heritage and our cultural art, spiritual connections, natural and civic rights; •To promote the unencumbered practice of our ancient Aboriginal Indigenous cultural folk art; specifically natural hair care, and related spiritual traditions.
• To serve as a national and international clearinghouse and creative resource group for the natural hair community
•To promote unity of purpose, cultural awareness, expand knowledge of natural hair care, Nubian and
Aboriginal Indigenous hair care, health products, wholistic health, and entrepreneurship among people of African descent and members of the society;
•To provide workshops and a Rite of Passage program to help empower Aboriginal Indigenous People and Africans in the Diaspora; •To provide guidance, comprehensive training and certification in Natural Hair Care as our cultural expression, business, and in cases a "divine calling" •To conduct an annual gathering of natural hair artisans, African Descents/Aboriginal Indigenous entrepreneurs, wholistic health and wellness workshops and edutainment entitled Annual International Locks Conference: Natural Hair, Wholistic Health and Beauty Expo in collaboration with the Kuumba Family Organizing Committee.
